Education Partnerships Group
Education Partnerships Group (EPG) is an international not-for-profit consultancy that works with governments to shape and strengthen their education systems.
We believe that every child has the right to a high-quality education, wherever they go to school. This means it’s important to think about the non-state sector as well as government-run schools – since non-state sector schools represent a significant and growing proportion of education systems, particularly in low- or middle-income countries.
We help governments create a system that supports interventions that seek to improve the quality of education while also being sustainable, scalable and effective. We believe this is only possible when all stakeholders involved are clear about their responsibilities; are held accountable for them; and understand how to access support.
EPG was founded in 2015 as an international venture of Ark, a UK-based charity that runs 38 schools in England and supports a range of educational ventures focused on curriculum and teacher training. Our goal at EPG is to make sure that all children are able to go to school and learn. We do that by working with governments to help shape and strengthen their education systems. Since launching we’ve worked with central and regional governments in India, South Africa, Uganda, Ghana, Cote D’Ivoire, Liberia and Ethiopia. Our main office is in London but we also have an office in Cape Town as well as team members based in Kampala, Abidjan and Accra.
