This research is a particular case study of Tiguer Kloof public private partnerships in South Africa. The authors analyse the effect of this type of collaboration on students’ social and cognitive outcomes. Public private partnerships have a positive impact on students living in rural areas. This research aims to provide insights to policy makers on how to improve education in disadvantaged areas of South Africa.
